This year our school's learning theme is "Identity". During Term 1 we will be thinking about our own personal identities as learners and preparing ourselves for the year ahead. Our essential question is..."How can I best prepare myself to become the best learner I can be?" If we can work out how we each learn best we can go a long way to achieving excellent results in our last year at primary school.
We will answer this question by asking ourselves...
How do I best learn?
What is my learning style?
How do I reflect and consider what I have learnt including goal setting?
How do I deal with my problems, challenges and emotions?
What is the best way to make decisions and solve problems for myself?
It will be a fantastic study. Each one of us will be learning about how we learn best, our preferred learning styles and how to actually get the best out of ourselves to become the best learners we can be. If you put your mind to it and participate fully you will help to prepare yourself not only for this year but for the rest of your learning journey, and for the rest of your lives. How great is that!
